1. INTRODUCTION.

We aim to inspire others with attainable pieces to create a community of confident, stylish people who trust one another and the community. We know that we care and you care about how your personal information is handled and protected. This Privacy Policy covers the Company’s treatment of your personal information. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before submitting any personal or other information to the JENESEQUA.com website (the “Site“) or the JENESEQUA mobile application (the “App”). Both the Site and the App will be hereafter referred to as JNSQ (“JNSQ”). By accessing, using or posting information to the Site, you consent to this Privacy Policy and the terms and practices described in this policy.

No information from children under age 13: In order to register with or use the Site or App, you must be 13 years or age or older. If you are under age 13, please do not attempt to register for JENESEQUA or provide any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete this information as quickly as possible. If you believe we have any information from a child under the age of 13, please contact us at jenesequa.com/contact with subject title “Under Age 13.” By registering, you represent that you are over 13 and that all information you provide in the registration is complete and accurate.

Parental Participation: Minors 13 years of age or older must ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet. We encourage parents to teach their children about safe Internet use and practices.

Those who are over the age of 18 may register freely.

We reserve the right to change the provisions of this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make changes to the Privacy Policy, we will notify you of any material changes by posting a notice on our home page, sending you an email at the address you provide in your profile, messaging all Facebook fans, or notifying you via a Push Notification on the iPad. Your use of JNSQ following the posting of such changes or revised statement shall constitute your acceptance of any such changes. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy whenever you visit JNSQ to make sure that you understand how any personal information you provide will be used.

Scope: This privacy policy covers all of JENESEQUA. It does not apply to entities that JENESEQUA does not own or control, such as applications or websites that use platform. By using or accessing JENESEQUA, you agree to our privacy practices outlined here.

2. INFORMATION WE RECEIVE

Information You Give Us

Information About Yourself: When you register for the Site and/or App, you provide JENESEQUA with your name, email, gender, birth date, occupation, home town (City, State) and other public JENESEQUA and Facebook information. During the registration process in a later version, we will give you the opportunity to connect with other users, deemed “followers.” From time to time, we may also gather information from you in response to survey questions, polls, giveaways, and other interactive elements through the Site and/or App. You may choose not to provide certain information, but, in such event, you may not be able to use all of the functions of the Site and/or App (i.e. Birthday Giveaway) or take advantage of the full capabilities and personalization of the Site. You will also eventually be able to add a picture of yourself. In some cases, we may ask for additional information for security reasons or to provide specific services to you.

Additional information. To introduce yourself to the JNSQ community, we may enable you to provide additional information to your JENESEQUA profile (in the JNSQ mobile App), such as bio, favorite links, photos, preferences, and other information and data about yourself and your opinions. Your Profile information may be searched by third party search engines and available to all visitors of the Site and App. You may also be able to “privatize” certain User Content (as defined in the Terms and Conditions of Use) and Profile information and share such information with only your inner community. Please take note that no security measures are failsafe on the Internet, and you will post all User Content at your own risk.

JENESEQUA, LLC. will store any information which you enter on the site or in the App and will use your information in order to enhance your experience with JNSQ and to customize the content and advertisements that you may encounter on the Site and/or App.

Transactional Information. If you purchase merchandise or services through the Site and/or App, such purchases may be shared with the Company. We may retain the details of transactions or payments you make using JENESEQUA.

Friend Information. You may provide us information regarding a friend, such as an email address or a Facebook username, so that you can tell your friend about the Site and/or App and invite your friend to join the Site and/or download the App. If you provide such information to us, we will use this information only to invite your friend to visit the Site and/or App and track the success of our referral and friend programs. If you do not want us to store this information, email us at jenesequa.com/contact.

Information We Collect When You Interact with JNSQ

Log Data and App/Site Activity. When you visit the Site and/or App, we will automatically collect and store information, such as your computer’s Internet Profile address, the browser you are using, your computer’s operating system, the address of the referring Site if you linked to our Site, and your activity on the Site and/or App. We will also keep track of some of the actions you take on JNSQ, including but not limited to connecting with a link or application, indicating you “like” a post, commenting on a post, or interacting with another user. We use this information for purposes such as analyzing your use of the Site and/or App and your interests, discovering user trends, tracking user movement on JNSQ, administering the Site, improving customer service, diagnosing problems with our Software or system hardware, and gathering broad demographic information for business and aggregate use. We may provide aggregate information and statistical data about our users to third parties from time to time for purposes that we deem appropriate.

Cookie Information. At the moment, JENESEQUA will not use “cookies” (small pieces of data files that are stored for an extended period of time on your computer or other hard drive to enable to site to recognize users who have been to the Site before, and to retain certain information including customer preferences, history, and number of visits). However, this may change at any time if JENESEQUA deems this appropriate. If it does change, you can block, erase or be warned of cookies (check the instructions for your browser), but if you do not allow our cookies you may not be able to access certain features of JNSQ.

Email. We will not provide your email address to any unaffiliated third parties without your permission, but we may use third party service providers who are engaged by or working with us in connection with operation of the Site and/or App (“Service Providers”). Such Service Providers may have access to your email and other information to provide the Services. For example, we may use a third party Service Provider to update and administer our mailing list(s) and to send you information regarding JENESEQUA. We require that such Service Providers use such information solely for the purposes of providing services to us.

We may send our emails featuring news, products, offers, surveys, or promotions. You may also receive notification emails from us, which inform you of actions (i.e. follower requests) that have been performed using JENESEQUA. If you do not want to receive e-mail from us, you will have the opportunity to opt-out of certain emails; however, note that in all cases you will continue to receive all system e-mails (i.e. those regarding forgotten user passwords) and legal notices (i.e. updates to our policies) from us.

Information we receive from Third Parties

Information from other websites. We may institute programs with advertising partners and other website in which they share information with us:

• We may ask advertisers to tell us how JNSQ users responded to the advertisements we showed them (and for comparison purposes, how other users who did not see the ad reacted to the Site and/or App). This data sharing (“Conversation Tracking”) helps us measure our advertising effectiveness and improve the quality of the advertisements you see
• We may receive information about whether or not you’ve seen or interacted with certain ads on other sites in order to measure the effectiveness of those ads.

3. HOW WE USE AND SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to try to provide a safe, efficient, and customized experience. Here are some details regarding how we do that:

To manage the service. As part of JENESEQUA, you agree that the sharing of information among people within JENESEQUA is an important part of the community. Accordingly, you agree that we may share and disclose your information, including personal information provided by you and information gathered by us, to JENESEQUA, LLC in order to provide you a customized personal experience on the Site and App. However, we will not rent or sell your personal information to any unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes and we will share your personal information only as described in this policy. We use the information to prevent potentially illegal activities. We also hope to detect and address anomalous activity and screen content to prevent abuse like spam. These efforts may result in a temporary or permanent suspension or termination of some functions for some users.

To contact you. We may contact you with service-related questions and announcements.

To help followers find you. We allow other users to use contact information they have about you, such as your email address, to find and “follow” you.

To customize advertising. We may aggregate and provide nonpersonal information to third parties from time to time without your authorization. In addition, we may share personal information with our Service Providers who need access to such information to carry out their work for us as described above. We require that our Service Providers use any personal information we provide only to carry out their work for us. We may customize the content and advertising you receive on the Site and/or App, or work with Service Providers to do so, and your personal information along with information we collect regarding your use of the Site, may be shared with such Service Providers for this purpose.

Law and Harm. We may disclose personal information (i) when we are required to or we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law (i.e., a lawful subpoena, warrant, or court order) or at the request of law enforcement or government representatives (including criminal and civil matters); (ii) to enforce or apply this Privacy Policy or other policies in agreements; (iii) to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our employees, or users or any other person; or (iv) to investigate and protect against fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful use of our Site, App, or our Service. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction and investigating or protecting against intellectual property infringement or misrepresentations of the identity of a user.

Transfer in the Event of Sale or Change of Control. If the Company is acquired by a third party, your personal information will be transferred and disclosed as part of the acquisition. In such case, your information would remain subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Policy.

4. THIRD PARTY SITES

Our Site and App will contain links to other websites. You should carefully review the privacy policies and other terms for all third party sites prior to using such sites. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by us and how we use and share such information. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to any personal information which you may provide on or through any third party sites, including Retailers, YouTube, or other links. JENESEQUA is not responsible for and does not control, monitor or endorse the privacy policies or practices of such third party sites.

5. HOW WE PROTECT INFORMATION

We do our best to keep our information secure. We will use reasonable security measures to protect against any unauthorized access to and disclosure of your personally identifiable information.

Risks inherent in sharing information. Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Understand that we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You should also note that email is not secure, and you should not send any confidential or sensitive information to us via an unsecured email. 6. SHARING INFORMATION ON JENESEQUA (V2)

This section explains how your privacy settings work, and how your information is shared on the JENESEQUA App. You should always consider your privacy settings before sharing information on JENESEQUA.

Name and Profile Picture. JENESEQUA is designed to encourage you to have your own flair and to find other users with a certain “je ne sais quoi.” For this reason, your name and profile picture do not have privacy settings. If you are uncomfortable with sharing your profile picture, you can substitute it with the profile picture on JENESEQUA’s Facebook page. You cannot control who can find you when searching on the JENESEQUA application.

Contact Information. Your contact information will be safe and not on your JENESEQUa profile. If you with to share your email address, you may put it embedded within your profile information.

Posts by me. Whether you are uploading a photo of your latest outfit or posting a fashionista status update, your followers will all be able to see it at the time you create it. However, people who do not follow you will not be able to see it.

Gender and Birth Date. In addition to name and email address, we require you to provide you gender and birth date during the registration process. We ask for your date of birth to verify that you are 13 or older, and so that we can better limit your access to content and advertisements that are not age appropriate. Because your birth date and gender are required, you cannot delete them. You can, however, edit your JENESEQUA profile to hide all (or parts of) such fields from followers.

Other. Other things to remember.

• Some of the content you share and the actions you take will show up of followers’ feeds.
• Even after you remove information from your profile or delete your account, copies of that information may remain viewable elsewhere to the extent that it has been shared with others, it was otherwise distributed pursuant to your privacy settings, or it was copied and/or stored by other users.
• You understand that information might be re-shared or copied by other users.
• If you use an external source to publish information to JENESEQUA’s web page (such as a comment on Facebook), you should check the privacy setting for that post, as it is set by that external source.

“Everyone” Info. Information posted on the JENESEQUA App is publicly available information, just like your name, profile picture, and connections to other followers. Such information may, for example, be accessed by everyone on the App. For those entering JENESEQUA through its webpage, please understand that your posts here may be accessed by everyone on the Internet (including people who do not follow JENESEQUA), be indexed by third party search engines, and be imported, exported, distributed, and redistributed by us and others without privacy limitations. Such information may also be associated with you, including your name and profile page, even outside of JENESEQUA, such as on public search engines and when you visit other sites on the internet.

Minors. We reserve the right to add special protections for minors (such as to provide them with an age-appropriate experience) and place restrictions on the ability of adults to share and connect with minors, recognizing this may provide minors a more limited experience on JENESEQUA.

7. HOW YOU CAN CHANGE OR REMOVE INFORMATION (V2)

If you are a registered user of our services, we provide you with tools to access or modify the personal information you provided to us and associated with your account.

Deleting or Deactivating your account. If you want to stop using your account, you may delete or deactivate your JENESEQUA profile by deleting the Application from your mobile tablet. When you do this, no follower or user will be able to see it. However, JENESEQUA, LLC. will be able to retain your information.

8. OTHER INFORMATION

Changes. We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time as we see fit. Unless otherwise stated, our current privacy policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by publication on our Home Page and by emailing you directly to the email that you provided upon registration. If these changes are material, we will provide you additional, prominent notice as appropriate under the circumstances.

Consent to Collection and Processing in the United States. By using JENESEQUA, you consent to having your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.

Company Information. The Site and App are solely operated by JENESEQUA, LLC. (the “Company” or “We” or similar language) and host servers located in the United States. If you register on the Site or with the application for mobile devices, you are agreeing to have your personal information transferred to and processed in the United States.
