THE SHOW: DKNY Fall / Winter 2013
Thanks to a fun surprise by DKNY, each model walked the front sidewalk of the venue before hitting the runway, giving standers by a sneak peak of each look. We were on the scene, and were lucky enough to take in the clothing close-up in day light. We love you DKNY!
KEY WORDS: Downtown cool. New York. Pop. Sporty.
THE LOOK: Beanies, collared shirts, leather, playful leopard, vibrant pops of blues, reds and pink set against the always cool black and gray.
BEAUTY: Sleek and straight hair parted down the middle. A bare but matte and polished face. Natural, bare eyes (no mascara), natural pink lips, and a bit of pinky contouring on the cheeks.
THE MUSIC: The show opened with Beastie Boys. Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” mixed with “Last Resort” by Papa Roach. Frank Sinatra “Start Spreading The News” mixed with “Juicy” by Notorious B.I.G. “BBD” by Azealia Banks.
THE FUN FACTOR: Cara Delevigne put on a show with her sweet and goofy antics. She’d make funny faces at the crowd and give loud woo’s as she ran by.
