The arrival of October is one that in many ways brings tranquility and time for contemplation. With its beautiful array of changing colors and temperate weather that subtly ushers us inside to become a bit cozier and quieter, I can’t think of a better month to try and welcome more serenity into our lives.Here are five ways to find more tranquility in your every day:
1. Treat yourself to a cooking class.
2. Carve out an hour of your day once a week to frequent your favorite cafe, splurge on your favorite cup of coffee and get lost in a beloved book you been anxious to read.
3. Visit a new art exhibit or stop into your favorite gallery.
4. Stroll through the farmers market during the last few weeks of the season before they close down before spring.
5. Take a walk and simple absorb the beauty of the regal golds, ruby reds and golden yellows dripping from the trees.
