Frenzied fashionistas across the world tomorrow will no doubt be lining up to get their hands on the latest in H&M’s designer collaborations; the Anna Dello Russo accessory line for H&M launches in stores tomorrow. As is standard with the H&M designer collaborations, ADR’s accessories are highly limited in their supply and thus highly coveted in demand. Expect it to be sold out in the opening hours of business to those who have been around the block enough to know that successfully shopping the H&M designer collaborations requires an overnight campout.
As also is standard with the H&M collaborations, the collection is based on a theme of affordable luxury. Prices range from $24.95 to $299, which definitely falls in the affordable range. Dello Russo has developed statement jewelry endless in its opulence of gold, turquoise, diamonds that fit the bill on luxury. Aside from jewelry, thigh-high boots with sky-high stilettos, several pairs of sunglasses, and a turquoise trolley suitcase also grace the collection. The suitcase was generated based on the idea that one should have a stylish carrier to be able to take all their favorite special pieces with them as they travel. The collection’s grand finale is a ridiculous feathered headpiece which is hard to take seriously.
