I would classify my style as “minimalistic chic” – classic silhouettes, not a lot of color, a lot black, neutrals a litte hint of my signature color (red!) and it’s not often I add pieces to my wardrobe that can be “trendy” or dated. My style has definitely been influenced since being in New York and I have started to add a few key “notice me” pieces – not too in your face – have a little bit of that french girl “je ne sais quoi’, aesthetic.
The moment I saw these Rag & Bone Raja jeans, I had to have them. Not something I would typically wear, but I was drawn to the side stitching and the elongation and slimming effect. They kinda remind me of the Isabel Marant Navajo jeans that the French Editor’s are spotted wearing at fashion week, of which sold out in a hot minute.
While shopping in Otte, a boutique in the W Village, I was surprised to hear that the shop girls couldn’t sell these jeans to save their lives. Hopefully this picture will changes a few shoppers minds. Any pair of pants that can make you look like you have “legs for days” are priceless.
I paired mine with a simple white tank and leather motorcycle jacket, but loving the way Virginie Courtin-Clarins styled them with a red silk top. As you can see, the jeans are versatile and can go uptown, downtown, and all around.
