One of the most iconic and entrepreneurial women of our times, Julia Child would have turned 100 today. As a child, she left a lasting impression on me and will continue to inspire me as an adult. She was well known for her public persona of a jovial French culinary master, but what I loved most about her was her love and devotion to her husband, her sense of humor, and her practice of living life to the fullest. If you haven’t read her book “My Life in France,” you must!
Do you have a favorite Julia Child memory or recipe? Mine is her Boeuf Bourguignon – here is my adaptation of the classic recipe – edited down for the busy woman, and it is also gluten free. Like Julia always said: BON APETITE!
