We saw a lot of gilded gowns, feathers, and lace last night at the 2012 Met Costume Institute Gala, but hands down Karolina Kurkova wins JNSQ’s vote for best dressed. She was the epitome of glitz and glam in the custom made Rachel Zoe Collection gown and matching turban. She kept her makeup fresh and simple with a nude lip and lightly kohl rimmed eye. Not a look just anyone, but a statuesque super model could pull off, but she did it.

The “Hottest Couple” award goes to Gisele and Tom. Yow! Her Givenchy dress is to DIE.
Kate Bosworth dazzles in Prada ostrich feathers and a healthy post-Coachella glow. Note the burgundy lip and nail.
And the JNSQ “Worst Dressed” title goes to Coco Rocha in vintage Givenchy. I get it. The ensemble is one of the latest pieces auctioned by Christie’s, owned by Elizabeth Taylor, one of Coco’s idols, but the styling is all wrong. With a more sophisticated hair style and some killer shoes, this could have worked. Sorry Coco!
