Bungalow beauty

Last week I attended a party at the Bungalow 5 showroom, which showcased the work of Annika Connor, a New York based, Swedish-American artist. Annika is a very active member of the arts community, and a talented painter whose work focuses on landscapes, wildlife and interiors. The chic Bungalow 5 showroom was the perfet backdrop to show off her distinct style, beautiful subects and gorgeous use of color.

The party was filled with designers, artists, furniture makers and business types, and was quite the labrinyth of beauty. Seriously, if you are in New York and you either haven’t seen Bungalow 5′s work, or their showroom, you should stop by! The team are hugely welcoming and their designs, which are mostly created by the in-house designers, and manufactured all over the globe (including a new collection made in the US), are a sight to behold.

I managed to capture a few snaps during the evening, both of the showroom and Annika Connor’s work, and I have pulled out some of my favorite pieces from the current Bungalow 5 collection for you to get a flavor. Their aesthetic is bright, bold, modern furniture, inspired by the eastern traditions – and I love it! What do you guys think?
