It’s all about wine red lips - I’m seeing them everywhere (and not just on myself after a glass or two…). This is one of my favorite fall trends: it’s strong & sexy and perfect for heading out to a cosy wine bar or sitting down to dinner in front of an open fire.
As with all bold colored lips, preparation is key. Ensure smooth application by exfoliating with a lip scrub or gently brushing lips with a soft toothbrush, then pat on a teeny amount of lip balm & allow it to sink in (don’t apply too much or lipstick won’t ‘stick’). If you have a lip pencil (either in a similar tone to your lipstick or a natural color) line & ‘color in’ the lips, then apply a light layer lipstick, blot, then apply again. And voila… perfect, bold lips!
